    Key Areas:

    • Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.

    • Meet agency determined school readiness goals through the implementation of established curriculum, development appropriate activities and assessments.

    • Responsible for safe, nurturing, and inviting environment for children and their families.

    • Deliver services as outlined in Head Start Performance Standards and other applicable regulatory standards.

     

     Qualifications

    • BA in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education (Teacher license not required)

    • 40 hrs/wk; Monday-Friday; Part Year (9 months; Aug-June)

    • Head Start teaching experience (Years qualify toward conversion from initial to standard license)

    • Wage: $16.29-$21.08; Benefits
